[SJ] EUNHYUK GOT A SURPRISE KISS FROM A GIRL GUEST ON STAR KING

credit: StarxChocox

I must say that Eunhyuk did not expect this to happen.  You know why?  noticed when it was his turn, he had a few minutes of talking and planning (maybe) with the girl in the back before they actually had to act it out.  The girl literally made a pass on Hyukie, don’t you think?  It was a shocking and yet funny (for some) scene.  I wonder what would the reaction of the ELF’s would be and the HYUKIE lover’s out there.   Would they be enraged?  I would be.  He he he.   But the fact that this whole incident was unexpected for Eunhyuk’s side, I think I should just throw my anger away but BUT for the girl’s side? Hmmmm..that’s another story.

Sweetie Minho, thank God he didn’t got mesmerized by the girl’s bait (?).  He he he.

Oh well…

[KPOP] TOP KPOP IDOLS UNITE ON SBS MUSIC FESTIVAL

South Korea’s top idol groups and singers attend e year-end SBS Music Festival held at KINTEX in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on December 29, 2009. [Lee Jin-hyuk/10Asia]

Singers undoubtedly become the busiest people in the entertainment industry at the end of every year with the variety of performances they have to prepare both individually and in collaboration with other artists for awards ceremonies of each broadcaster. On set of the SBS Music Festival on December 29, these artists and the show’s producers, who had already given up on about three days worth of sleep, put up their last fight into a camera rehearsal just hours ahead of the event’s actual airing.

As Super Junior member Hee-chul, who had transformed into Girls’ Generation member Jessica for song “Gee”, comes back to take his position as emcee, co-show host Jung Yong-hwa praises him saying, “You look good disguised in a girl, very pretty.” To this, Heechul chicly answers, “Yes, but even this beauty will turn 28 next year,” taking the young and less experienced Jung by surprise. Yet soon Heechul shows his warm side by explaining to Jung his position and organizing his comments for the show. Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation too takes care of her juniors Krystal and Amber from girl group f(x), checking meticulously whether they are correctly performing the dance moves to SHINee’s “Ring Ding Dong”. Former idol group singer Kim Tae-woo livens up the atmosphere by warmly greeting the young singers who appear on set.

Of course, it is not only the senior singers looking out for their juniors. 2PM member Chansung who was prepping for a partial recorded segment of the show, places his fellow singer Wooyoung in front of him and repeatedly shows him the new choreography they are set to sing on the show. Wooyoung, who had been listening intently to Chansung’s directions, turns around to face the wall and starts rehearsing the moves.

9:55 P.M. The show goes on air. SHINee member Onew, who was imitating the choreography of T-ara’s “Bo Peep Bo Peep” in a space arranged separately for the singers next to the stage, gladly greets and repositions himself next to 2PM member Nichkhun who takes his own seat. Super Junior’s Shindong, who had been immersed in singing along to Davichi’s “A Friend’s Confession,” transforms into a member of what looks like the choir from film “Sister Act” when the girl duo starts singing “8282″. Shindong, alongside Lee Teuk and Sungmin, start dancing and singing to the song with Yesung as the conductor. 2AM member Jinwoon returns to his seat after watching boy band 2PM’s first-ever performance of their song “Tired of Waiting”. Park Jin-young, the eldest amongst the singers at 38-years-old, reenacts his hit 90s song “Don’t Leave Me” with surprisingly swift moves and without doubt, of all the male idol singers who follow the dance moves to Girls’ Generation’s “Genie”, the best is 2AM leader Jo Kwon. While the video for “Gee” plays on screen, Super Junior members Heechul, Lee Teuk and Sungmin as well as SHINee members Minho and Taemin go up and stage to say hello to their fans and Siwon, also known as ‘Girls’ Generation’s CEO’, claps like a CEO with the most solemn look on his face. There was no ‘No. 1′ or popularity vote during the 200 minute-long show — everyone was a winner at the SBS Music Festival.

Korean idol group SHINee will likely include the Philippines in their itinerary if they embark on an Asian tour.

SHINee members Onew, Jonghyun, Minho, and Key made the announcement at the press conference following their participation in the concert dubbed “Philippines-Korea Friendship Festival,” held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on Nov. 27.

SHINee is part of the current hallyu, or Korean wave, currently sweeping Asia. They debuted in the Korean music scene in 2008 under SM Entertainment agency, which also manages boy bands TVXQ and Super Junior.

“It was such an amazing experience. I actually cried,” one Filipino fan posted on the SHINee World Philippines fan forum after watching the pop idol group performed.

SHINee’s repertoire included “Stand by Me”, a song from the official soundtrack of the Korean hit drama series, “Boys over Flowers;” “Juliette,” one of their hits in Korea; and “Ring Ding Dong,” the group’s latest output that has already won several awards. Their fifth member, Taemin, was unable to join the concert due to illness.

Fans of the Korean boy band—many of whom wore SHINee t-shirts and brought banners and balloons—started lining up outside CCP as early as 1 p.m., some four hours before showtime. Many of the concertgoers got their tickets through a raffle sponsored by Arirang TV days prior.

The “Philippines-Korea Friendship Festival” concert was emceed by VJ Isak of Arirang TV’s “Pops in Seoul” and Filipino actor Luis Manzano. The opening remarks were given by Korean Ambassador to the Philippines Choi Joong Kyung.

Other featured acts were Filipino dance troupe Teatro Miguel, reggae band Brownman Revival, Korean jazz group Winterplay, and Korean rap duo Mighty Mouth.

The concert was part of the Korean Cultural Festival in the Philippines. It was organized by Korean broadcast station Arirang TV and government-owned TV station NBN, with support from Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Korea Communications Commission; the Korean Embassy in the Philippines; United Korean Community Association in the Philippines; Department of Tourism; Hanjin; ABS-CBN; SkyCable and Global Destiny.

SHINee is the first Korean idol group to hold a concert in the Philippines.

[PERF] LEETEUK’S TURN ON SHINEE’S RDD PERF ON SBS

Due to serious H1N1 virus affecting our perfect little Hallyu Stars. Teukie’s has also replaced Onew (who got the swine) on one perf for the SBS Inkigayo. Let’s all pray that Onew would recover fast and that, that would be the last for the Shinee members.

What so sweet of this perf is that F(x) and another group came to perform on the encore when Shinee bagged the price for the night as number 1. Cool huh?! Teukie bring it all out, i guess. Hail for the leader. Teukie teukie teukie!

Just saw the perf of Yesung and Shinee last night and men, I was really really liking it! Love that Yesung was able to successfully sang the part BUT obviously he wasn’t familiar with the steps that’s why he sometimes vanished from the camera ( like Heechul does). LOL.

I made animated gifs from the Ring Ding Dong video. Yesung biased as usual. ^___^ Can be found on my GIF’S & ICON page.
