Korean idols Super Junior have posed for a 10-page spread in fashion magazine W Korea, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
A press release from SM stated that the boys took part in a shoot for the June issue of W Korea, displaying the pop image of each member donning colorful eye make-up and hairstyles to show off their individual personalities.
“The energy on set was great because the boys showed excellent teamwork in front of the cameras,” explained an associate with W Korea magazine.
“Even though we are busy promoting our new album, it felt great to shoot a spread for a magazine as a group. It was fun and it meant a lot to us,” the members of Super Junior were quoted as saying.
The behind-the-scenes video of the shoot can be viewed on May 20 at the official W Korea homepage.
Super Junior, originally a 13-member group, is currently promoting their fourth full-length album “BONAMANA” with only 10 members since members Kang-in is planning on entering the army to fulfill his mandatory two-year service, Kibum will be focusing on his acting career and Hangeng is currently embroiled in a legal battle with SM.

[100518/SJ] SUPER JUNIOR TOPS ALBUM CHARTS WITH BONAMANA

Asian pop sensation Super Junior has topped several album charts with their fourth full-length album “BONAMANA,” according to their agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
A press from SM revealed that the group conquered the weekly and daily album charts of music distributors Hanteo, Hot Tracks and Yes 24 since the release of “BONAMANA” Version A last Thursday.
Figures from Hanteo indicated that the record sold over 70,000 copies in just five days, becoming the album to sell the most number of copies in the shortest time span so far this year.
The fourth full-length album had racked up 200,000 preorders, another record for the 13-member boy band who had received up to 150,000 preorders for their previous top-selling album.
Version B of “BONAMANA” will go on sale on May 20 featuring behind-the-scene photos from the group’s stage performances and music video shoots.
The boys recently gave their comeback performance on televised music programs last weekend singing the titled track “BONAMANA” and “Boom Boom.”
They will be promoting the new album with only ten members since members Kang-in is planning on entering the army to fulfill his mandatory two-year service, Kibum will be focusing on his acting career and Hangeng is currently embroiled in a legal battle with SM.
Super Junior made their debut in 2005 with their first album “SuperJunior05 (TWINS)” and have also released several other studio albums including “Don’t Don” and “Sorry, Sorry”

The performance was beyond what I am expecting the concert will be. The video interludes were touching, and I can relate to those my struggles in life. Falling in love with both Victoria and Amber….♡♡♡
After the Marry U performance, Leeteuk began waving his hands to the fans along with his co-members.. Teuk waved as our side, and I can’t believe that he saw the hat I am waving , in which the instrument to notice us afar aside from the glowsticks. ☺

[SJ] SUPER JUNIOR EUNHYUK RECOVERS FROM INFLUENZA FLU

Super Junior member Eunhyuk is back on his feet after having fallen ill with the influenza flu last week, according to his agency SM Entertainment on Friday.
“Eunhyuk will resume his activities since the doctor has confirmed that he has recovered from the flu,” SM told Asia Economic Daily over the phone.
The 23-year-old singer had halted all scheduled events since coming down with the dreaded flu strain last Friday.
The boy band member will be returning as a host for his radio show “Kiss the Radio” with fellow Super Junior member Lee Teuk and will be back as a regular on SBS’ variety talk show “Steel Heart.”
Eunhyuk is the rapper of the boy band which made their debut in 2005. They have enjoyed a successful singing career in Korea and are also one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia.

I must say that Eunhyuk did not expect this to happen. You know why? noticed when it was his turn, he had a few minutes of talking and planning (maybe) with the girl in the back before they actually had to act it out. The girl literally made a pass on Hyukie, don’t you think? It was a shocking and yet funny (for some) scene. I wonder what would the reaction of the ELF’s would be and the HYUKIE lover’s out there. Would they be enraged? I would be. He he he. But the fact that this whole incident was unexpected for Eunhyuk’s side, I think I should just throw my anger away but BUT for the girl’s side? Hmmmm..that’s another story.

I know it’s been a late vid since it’s been around the web for 2 or 3 days but I just can’t help being in awe with my lovely Super Junior’s performance here. Really really really COOL! So cool that I watched it over and over again. What shocked me the most was that Kyu was in here with the 4 of the best dancers of SJ and to think that sometimes he can’t keep up with these 4 fellas (EUNHYUK, SHINDONG, DONGHAE, TEUKIE). You’d be amazed by what was going on here. It’s like, they rock the house down! Version of their perf may seem to be of that of the Jabbawockees but they gave it their best shot and proved to be worth for the win.

Leeteuk: In the past, after sitting for my exams, I would call the hotline to check my results, the voice prompt would say “Your current preliminary qualification status…” Listening to this made me feel I was already a university student. “Your current ranking is the #237…”, the first day it was #237, the second day, when I called again, it became #200. In my heart I was thinking, this is quite good, (my ranking) is always rising.
Eunhyuk: Previously, when I was taking part in the auditions, among the staff, one noona told me that I had a chance this time, and added in that if I did a good job, I could immediately sign a contract. Although I wasn’t selected, at that point in time, I felt as if I had already become a star.
Leeteuk: The deepest feelings that I had recently was during the award ceremony not too long ago… Coming from our mouths this might seem a little proud, but we are the fully deserving triple award kings.

EH : for me , I like spend my time in shopping and .. I like driving also.

ET : unfortunately I don’t have but if I have (girlfriend) , I’ll marry her within 3 years

ET : we well release our 4th album and continuo our 2nd Asia tour that we already started in beginning of 2009
DJ1 : I heard that you were in Thailand recently and held a concert there . is there any plan to hold a concerts in other Asian country too ?
ET : we held 3 concerts in Korea and 3 in Japan and we’ll hold it in Taiwan , Hong Kong , and China too
DJ 2 : we hope you hold concerts in Arabic countries also
ET &EH : we want that too .
DJ 1 : Eeteuk also want that (too) just keep asking him (and other members ) if you want (them to hold a concert) .
DJ 2 : how can you see Super Junior in the future ?
EH : firstly, Super Junior’s name will remain forever . all the members are working in all , we have singers , actors , MCs , DJs ,models

2009 comes to an end
Leeteuk: Eunhyuk, what are your thoughts about 2009?
Eunhyuk: Firstly, I’ve matured a lot. In this year, we’ve still held onto our DJ positions, ahahaha, (I’m) really too happy. Also, my family moved, I changed my car, as well as some personal events. From a bigger perspective, many things have happened, but as a whole, (I’m) still very blessed.
Leeteuk: Wow, you lived quite comfortably, congratulations. To us, 2009 was a year of much productiveness as well as a year of many difficulties. Hope that in 2010, there will only be good events, we can all be happy, and be aggressive in the year of the tiger.
Eunhyuk: I think so too, because my zodiac is a tiger.
Leeteuk: Be it personally, or in the group, many things have happened, hope that in 2010, there can be good events. I’ve been busy working that I’ve neglected my family, my mother is still sick at the moment. Next year, I also want to treat my family members well.
Eunhyuk: Yeah, through these events in 2009, we set new goals, hopefully everyone will be able to fulfill their own wishes.

CRYING ON SUPER SHOW 2 SHANGHAI
Read a lot of stories of what had just happened on SS2 Shanghai. Highlight of it was the crying scenes of all Super Junior, most especially Teukie and Eunhyuk. It’s heartbreaking! I can feel the pain. I can feel their sadness. I can feel the emptiness. They’re lost but still had to keep the show from going on. I can’t bear seeing them like this. 11 of the members are present and yet of course something/someone is missing. Kibum and Kangin were not there to perform with them. I am actually hurt. Tears streaming from my eyes. I can’t even watch the whole vid cause it really hurts. I failed for being strong. Here’s a short video.

Sujuthrusts@YTAnd it really bothered me to see Teukie’s face looking sad and helpless. I know, with the situation that’s been taken out of hand (i.e Kangin being on hiatus and the accident). I know he’s carrying a whole lot of load in his shoulder. Just wish that I or the ELF’s could at least take a little weight out of him to bear. He was so distressed and you can see in his face that he was really in misery. Here are some of those pics.

While I was not working last night due to brown-out and constipation, me and my Ae-in Xen (a very good friend of mine, my soulsister) were texting each other and was telling me about the Super Junior Show 2 Concert Japan Premium.
She said a lot of things about the concert. And I was really really jealous and she knows that I am. She just received her DVD yesterday (advanced right? I know! that’s my Ae-in always up to date with SUJU) and was really really watching (focusing on) everything in it.
For her intro, she said that it was EXTREMELY HOT. This was the exact words she said to me on SMS. And I was like whaaaaat? Chungmal?!! by then I keep on asking her questions about the Super Show and what the concert was like. Then our conversation goes on about the Super Junior being so hot and they were really sweating on their whole concert. More like dripping sweat from their body. I just can’t put it into words. They are deadly HOT. My Teukie is extremely hot there and so is Sungmin. But my Ae-in (as being inlove with Eunhyuk and Donghae so much individually) told me that Anchovy and Fish (Eunhae-Ae-in forever) got the best vote for being HOT and so they are!
She said that although they don’t have solo perf on the concert but the cam, I believe, where following their (Eunhae) parts was extremely HOT (why do I have the feeling that this post is all about the HOTNESS of SUJU..LMAO) and said there are a lot of dance break of Hyukjae ( my Ae-in really likes the way Eunhyuk dance) happening there. Whew! A must see DVD.
Oh My God, and Ae-in even told me that my Yeye (Yesung, Namchin) almost undressed or stripped himself from the perf. I don’t know which one cause she didn’t tell me what perf it was. I was so jealous. Really jealous. Sungmin was so hot too. Oh my GAAAAAAAD! Can’t help it. Was really asking her if there was any vid uploaded on YT and she said that there were 6 vid circulating on YT BUT ONLY 6 vid. Was so bummed out cause you know I can’t get enough of my boys. Aaaaaaarrrrggggghhh… And repeatedly telling me that my Nampyeon (Peter Pan, Teukie) was really H.O.T there. *jealous*
Ae-in told me too that there’s another HanChul (Hangeng and Heechul) moment happening where they almost kiss on the Sorry Sorry perf and there was staring at each other and hugging. Men, I so want to watch that. I don’t know if there is one on YT. As ae-in’s words are: DANGEROUSLY HOT. Nice description for that one! *applause*
Then I thought that that was just it. But she texted me back and told me that there are many HanChul moment(s) (redundant of me, mianhe!). There was a Siwon moment too when he wanted to be kissed by Anchovy and guess what, Eunhyuk did kiss Siwon. I mean Siwon who likes skinship, no wonder. LOL. But then Donghae was there trying to prevent it from happening but it still did i think. ^^ But later on ae-in told me at the end of the song, Siwon kissed Hyuk back. Oh so sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! (Donghae must have been jealous of this). My Ae-in is really loyal with the EunHae pairing and really REALLY have a huge LOVE for them not ONLY as a pair but as an individual too. I like them, too. Eunhae is a great match for me also but… There’s KyuMin, KangTeuk, YeTeuk (this is my fave pair and as solo love), ShinWon moment, too.
I so wish that I could watch this DVD for myself cause based on Ae-in’s description of things, it was a great concert to watch. Worth the watch. 2 thumbs up. I just can’t put it into writing. As she said it was a heartwarming sight. Coming from her who have watched the whole show and saying it, it must be a good show to watch. Plus there’s a bonus vid where after the concert they were playing around while being interviewed, taking pictures outside the van and doing wacky poses the whole time. There was a scene too where they were rehearsing back stage and Fishy was infront of the cam talking Nihonggo (lines that he knows) when he was caught red-handed by his manager and giving him the look cause he was not practicing/rehearsing with the rest of the guys. Then there was this funny scene when Kyu was practicing his Nihonggo with a Japanese dictionary and as Ae-in said, he was really funny on this part cause he stuttered most of the time and the subtitle is no help at all cause it was pure characters and shapes. Meaning his nihonggo is not good at all. LMAO. Needs practicing. LOL. My ae-in Xen really loves his Prince Kyu too. Henry was there too with the rest of the Super Junior on the van with his earphone on, wearing his glasses, and chewing gum most of the time. I think he is too caught up with what he was listening and thinking that he doesn’t have any idea at all what they (SUJU) were saying. He needs a translator. Just kidding!
Anyway, our texting came to an abrupt stop cause my freaking cellphone gave up on me. It was screaming LOW BAT LOW BAT. Nice piece of cellphone ei! There was no electricity and I forgot to charge it yesterday morning. Wrong time to get battery dead. Aish!
So much for that Super Junior Show.
The whole time I was really screaming for the freaking electricity to come but hell no. I was so looking forward to take a glimpse of it even on YT. Freaking power company, what a kill joy!
Anyway, electricity’s back again. I am going to watch this now. Yeah!
