Top K-pop group TVXQ has called off a fan meeting scheduled in Japan in the New Year all of a sudden due to the latest legal dispute.
In a posting for “Bigeast,” the group’s Japanese fan club, the five-member group said it has decided to halt the planned event in Japan after intensive negotiations.”
TVXQ has planned 10 fan meetings in several Japanese cities and tickets for the meetings have already been sold out.
“Bigeast” expressed apology for the cancellation of the event, saying, “We will continue to support TVXQ’s activities.”
The group’s five members also said in a statement that “fans’ support gave us a big boost. We are sorry to cause concern for all of you.”
